Faq's

How long until our photos are ready?
Your proofing collection will be ready 2-3 weeks after your time with us. Once you have selected your favourite images your session will go into post-production and be ready for delivery in 3-4 weeks time. All fine art coffee table albums or wall prints and canvases take 2-3 weeks from the time of order to delivery. All artwork must be picked up from the Studio to ensure quality control. We will advance you any image(s) you wish to use for your birth announcements. Our online store can provide you with a full design and print service for your needs. 

Studio or our home?
Entirely up to you! We LOVE photographing both in-studio and on location. They are very different in style so if we can give you any advice to help you make your decision it would be that if you wish to have everything planned for you and want the comforts of home while we photograph a more posed style of photography than come to our Studio; all sets, props, and wardrobe are available for your use. If you really love your home and it is important for you to capture your sentiment in your space, it has lots of natural light and is generally a monochromatic style of decor, we will come to your home and photograph. more of a lifestyle session with less of the posing and use your space as its own beautiful backdrop. 

Do you photograph large Family Portraits?
Yes! It's our specialty! Rates for family portraits of large groups (generally more than 6-8 people, are at an increased image collection rate, which is associated with the amount of editing we do), are available. We photograph in Studio approved locations, and guide you through the process from planning to wardrobe consulting to maps to locate your session spot. We LOVE big groups of love!

Can we bring our own props for our Newborn Session?
I'd love to say yes, but it's recommended that you put that trust in us, allowing us to handle the styling and set up of your shoot. Having your little one in approved props means that you're in safe and trained hands. Our sessions are planned in advance and thoughtfully selected props are part of that process. 

Do you offer refunds on my session fee?
Unfortunately, no. As we book 3-6 months out, our sessions fees are paid in advance as retainer fees and you are essentially holding the date for your time with us in our shoot schedule. This means when others inquire about that date we turn their business away. All session fee retainers are non-refundable.

Will my photos be in high resolution?
Yes. We provide all images at 300 dpi. All of your photos will be personally and professionally retouched. We do not outsource to a third party whatsoever.

Can you guarantee all of the poses I want? No. Every session is different from the last and so many circumstances can impact the success of your final collection including baby's temperament, digestive state that day, if mama ate pizza at midnight the night before and is nursing (upset tummy), the age of baby as there are more sleepy times than others during their first few weeks and also the level of relaxation that mama and dada are feeling that day.  For family sessions outdoors, we will do our best to be creative but sunlight and weather can impact our collection. All sessions are created with a creative approach using our skill to determine light, weather, personalities, and circumstances all custom to you. Trust us. xo 

Are you available outside of Canada?
YES! I am often available for destination weddings and photoshoot events across Canada and worldwide. These shoots are quoted on an individual basis. These events should be booked at least six months in advance to ensure date availability. We limit our destination weddings and events to 3 or 4 per year.

Are you available for charity work?
Yes. We have a certain number of annual hours we donate to charity events each year. I enjoy getting involved in charity projects as long as my schedule allows for it. We participate in several fundraising events throughout the year and also host our own fundraiser during the holidays.

I love connecting with people on all levels and take from these experiences the appreciation of selflessness and the value in contributing to something that is far greater than I.
